Tourism Board approves grants

The Sublette County Joint Tourism Promotion Board approved over $6,000 in grant money to four Sublette County groups at their grant hearing on Tuesday. Groups receiving $1,500 grants were the Pinedale Half Marathon, Pinedale Sage & Snow Garden Club and the Rocky Mountain Premium Pig and Lamb Sale. The Hell Hole Archers received a grant of $750 and a $500 Youth Grant was awarded to the Pinedale FFA Chapter for its pig and lamb sale. Lodging tax money is used for out of county advertising to bring attention to Sublette County events and attract visitors for overnight stays in county lodging establishments.
