VFW Blood Drive March 31

VFW Post 4801 in Pinedale will be holding a blood drive on Thursday, March 31st at the VFW from 11 am-5:30 pm. This has been incorrectly advertised as a benefit for Gary Lankford. All that is happening is the blood drive. Some of the blood donated is hoped to help replace blood he has had to be replaced, but this is NOT a benefit or function for him.
According to Gary's Mom, Mary, Gary is doing good and is back in Pinedale working. He was released by the doctor on February 28th and has been back home in Pinedale for the past several weeks. According to Mary the report of the benefit on his behalf was an error and the only thing happening on Thursday at the VFW will be the blood drive. "He is doing good," she said, "He even went skiing today."
