Wyoming Outfitters to meet in Pinedale

The Wyoming State Outfitters and Guides Association will have its annual Spring Convention of 2005 in Pinedale from Thursday, March 31, through Saturday, April 2nd. Pinedale was selected to host this year’s event which will bring 75-100 Wyoming outfitters and guides to town. The event will take place at the Stockman’s Restaurant in Pinedale.
Thursday will consist of registrations, vendor set up and the Board of Director’s meeting and dinner.
Friday’s meeting will encompass the general membership meeting from 9 am to 4 pm. Guest speaker will be Jamie Snow, DVM, MPH, State Public Health Veterinarian, at 10:00 am. A cocktail party with 2 for 1 cocktails will be served from 5:30 pm to 7 pm with a dinner, auction and dance to follow.
The general public is invited to attend and participate in the auction and evening events. The auction and raffle will include items such as knives, firearms, Brunton binoculars, horse packing equipment and artwork. The Michael Hart Band will be performing into the night. The General Membership meeting will continue through noon on Saturday.
The Sublette County Joint Tourism Promotion Board has created visitor packets for the WYOGA members and will be hosting the WYOGA break sessions both Thursday and Friday, offering coffee and soft drinks to the participants.
