Wyoming Artists’ Convention April 29-May 1
Wyoming Artists’ Association Celebrates 50 Years With Annual Convention In Pinedale
April 15, 2005
Artists from all across the Cowboy State will bring their creative powers to Pinedale on April 29 for a weekend celebration combined with a full schedule of workshops, Quick Draw, art exhibit, luncheon, and banquet, according to Kay Meeks, this year’s WAA president and former WAA Grand Wyoming Artist. Kay’s chosen theme for the convention is "A Diamond in the Rough" and there will be a theme show and a costume parade before the banquet to reflect this inspiration.
Registration, workshops, and art exhibit will take place at the Sublette Co. Ice Arena, while the Quick Draw will be held at the Museum of the Mountain Man. The luncheon, followed by a business meeting, and the banquet and costume "parade" will be at Rendezvous Pointe Senior Center.
