Living History Days May 17-19
American Mountain Men at the Museum of the Mountain Man
May 17, 2005
Members of the American Mountain Men will be at the Museum of the Mountain Man Tuesday through Thursday, May 17-19, for Living History Days. They will give presentations and demonstrations about the every day life of the men who lived here during the early 1800s during the fur trade era. The AMM will set up an authentic living history mountain man camp.
Over 500 students from around western Wyoming are expected to be brought by schools to take part in the educational programs of the annual Living History Days at the Museum. The project is funded by Sublette County School District #1 BOCES.
The public is invited and encouraged to stop by from 10 am – 5 pm to enjoy the festivities, see the demonstrations, and meet the members of the American Mountain Men who come to Pinedale each year from all over the United States and so generously donate their time and mountain man knowledge and expertise for Living History Days and Rendezvous Days.
