Stabbing of Marbleton man under investigation

A Marbleton man was hospitalized in Idaho Falls after being stabbed Sunday evening, according to a news release by the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies and Big Piney EMTs responded to a call about a stabbing at 11:25 pm Sunday, May 8th. Marbleton resident Alfred Archambault, 44, was taken to the Big Piney/Marbleton clinic and treated for stab wounds and then life flighted to a hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
According to the release, there was an altercation between Archambault and an unnamed 38-year old man, also from Marbleton. The second man was arrested shortly after the stabbing and is in custody at the Sublette County jail pending charges. He also sustained cuts and was treated prior to being jailed. The case is under investigation.
