Bardy Bardin appointed new Sheriff
Replaces Hank Ruland who retires June 30th

The Sublette County Commissioners met in executive session on Tuesday, June 21, and interviewed the three candidates for Sheriff who were chosen by the Sublette County Republican Central Committee on Monday night. Those three who were chosen were:
Wayne "Bardy" Bardin Jim Whinnery Alan Ziegler
After interviewing all three candidates, the public was invited back in, and the Commissioners cast secret ballots. The Sublette County Clerk, Mary Lankford, then counted the ballots, and announced that the vote was unanimous for "Bardy Bardin" to be the new sheriff.
Barden will take office at 12:00 noon on June 30, 2005. He replaces the current Sublette County Sheriff, Hank Ruland, who is retiring on June 30, 2005.
