Hatch Report – September 11, 2005

Now that fall is here trout are getting very aggressive in filling up for winter. During Indian summer, fish a hopper of any kind and a bead head dropper through the deeper runs on the Green or New Fork and hang on! Trout will be holding in the deep runs where food source is abundant waiting for a big hopper to hit the surface.

Boulder Lake is great this time of year also, nice rainbows in the inlet and outlet areas filling up for winter. Fish a Muddler Minnow deep for nice rainbows.
