Rock Springs hunter dies near Bondurant

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported that on Saturday, October 8th, Sheriff’s officers, responded to a hunting accident in the Riling Draw area near Dell Creek Road in Bondurant. A search was conducted of the area to locate the victim.
Frank Montoya, 45, of Rock Springs, Wyoming, was found deceased from a single gunshot wound. Mr. Montoya, his daughter and brother were hunting in the area when he received this fatal wound. Pinedale Ambulance and Bondurant Fire personnel responded to the scene. Family members as well as other hunters in the area assisted in the search. There is no suspicion of foul play in this matter, said Sublette County Sheriff Bardy Bardin.
