Here’s some good news on local gas prices. The average price for regular unleaded gasoline dropped a little over 15 cents a gallon in Pinedale from last week.
A Pinedale Online survey of Pinedale gas stations on Sunday showed an average price of $2.67 per gallon. A gallon of regular unleaded gas cost $2.83 at the pumps in Pinedale last Monday. The price drop puts Pinedale within 4 cents of the US national average of $2.63/gallon as of Sunday. Overall, Wyoming was 8 cents/gallon more expensive than the national average when prices were checked on Sunday.
Those of you driving diesels around Pinedale will be paying even more at the pump. The average price for a gallon of diesel rose 2 cents a gallon over last week. Pinedale’s average as of yesterday was $3.33/gallon, which is 10 cents a gallon more than the national average. Remember the good old days, (in February), when diesel was $2.00/gallon?
Big Piney/Marbleton's average for regular unleaded stayed the same as last week at $2.857/gallon. Diesel average went up 5 cents/gallon to $3.272.
