Four run for Mayor, Seven for Town Council

Four people have put their names into the hat to run for Mayor of Pinedale, and seven are competing for the two open Town Council positions.
Mayor Rose Skinner will not be running for another term.
Current Town Council members are: Barbara Boyce, Gary Heuck, Miriam Carlson and Nylla Kunard.
Boyce and Carlson's positions are up for re-election for new 4-year terms. Barbara Boyce has reapplied for her position on the Council. Carlson and Gary Heuck are running for the mayor position. If Heuck is elected mayor, his vacant Town Council position will be filled by appointment.

A Candidate’s Forum will be held at Rendezvous Pointe on Thursday, April 20th, from 6-8 pm. The Forum is sponsored by the Sublette Group for Community Initiative and the Bank of Pinedale.
Another Candidate’s Debate is tentatively planned, sponsored jointly by the Pinedale Roundup and KPIN 101.1 FM radio, to be broadcast live just before the election.
Elections will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd at the Pinedale Town Hall. Polls will be open from 8 am until 7 pm. Voting is open to residents who live within the city limits of the town of Pinedale.
