The Green River Valley Museum (GRVM) received a $5,475 grant from the Gayle McMurry Kinnison Donor Advised Endowment Fund of the Wyoming Community Foundation (WCF) for use on the project "Hard and Noble Lives: A Living Tradition of Cowboys and Ranchers in the Wyoming’s Hoback Basin," a book by Paul Jensen.

The WCF grant will be used to fund maps to be prepared and digitized for publication, photograph acquisition and final research writing on the last two chapters. The book is expected to be published later this year.

According to Green River Valley Museum Director Carrie Anderson, the Green River Valley Museum served solely as the non-profit umbrella organization that enabled Jensen to apply for the grant. No GRVM money will be used for the project.

The Wyoming Community Foundation is a philanthropic, non-profit organization that administers funds established by individuals, families, corporations, agencies and private foundations. The foundation uses income from these gifts to benefit community needs across Wyoming.
