Hunter injured after being thrown from mule
Rescued from the top of Osborn Mountain near Green River Lakes

According to a Sublette County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) news release, the SCSO, Tip Top Search and Rescue High Angle Team, and Sublette County Emergency Management personnel responded to a report of an injured hunter in the area of Green River Lakes on Wednesday, September 6th.
The man was thrown from a mule while hunting on top of Osborn Mountain and reportedly had head injuries as well as injuries to both forearms. The Forest Service assisted by providing a helicopter.
The hunter, Dan McCann of Marbleton, Wyoming, was transported off the mountain to a waiting Air Idaho medical helicopter, which took him to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Facility. No further details were available.
