The Pinedale Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has scheduled a Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) meeting for Tuesday, September 26 in the Sublette County Library. The PAWG meeting will begin at 8:00 am and will continue until noon. For more information, call Matt Anderson in the Pinedale BLM office at 307-367-5328.

The Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) and Task Groups (TGs) develop recommendations and provide advice to the BLM on matters pertaining to oil and gas development in the Pinedale Anticline area, as described in the Pinedale Anticline Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Record of Decision (ROD).

Members are appointed by the Secretary of the Interior from the oil and gas industry, the environmental community, local governments and the public-at- large, and will function as a working group with oversight over several subcommittees (TGs) designated to address specific issues. PAWG and TG meetings are open to the public.
