Drill Rig on Cottonwood Creek

A natural gas drill rig sits on the Cottonwood Ranch between North and South Cottonwood Creeks, visible from Highway 189 between Daniel and Big Piney. The Wind River mountains and Fremont Peak are in the background. Once drilling is completed, the drilling tower will be removed and all that will be visible will be short storage tanks and a couple of small buildings.
