The United States Senate’s website was slowed down recently, and the culprits might be drudgereport.com and Global Warming, according to a recent story by Bob Rule of Pinedale’s KPIN 101.1 FM News Radio.

DrudgeReport.com put up a link to the Senate’s website to a press release on a senate committee website. The link caused traffic to increase to 30,000-50,000 queries per hour to senate.gov. The Drudge Report carried an article that indicated the Weather Channel had called for decertification of meteorologists who are skeptical of global warming.
