White Pine Ski Area & Resort hosted an Intermountain Freestyle competition over the weekend. Over eighty athletes from several surrounding states competed. This is the second year White Pine has hosted the event which consists of two days of skiing. There was a Mogul contest on Saturday and Freestyle Jumping on Sunday.

The Slopestyle / Big Air jump hill faces the White Pine parking lot, so spectators got a great view right from their cars. The sunshine and warm weather brought the lawn chairs out, and the fans moved to the bottom of the hill for a better view.

There were 11 entrants from two Park City teams, and the White Pine team. Zack Thompson and David McCarty represeted White Pine.

Each jumper had four jumps and were judged on slopestyle and aerials.

RESULTS:

Aerials:
Female 1st - Blake Peterson.
Male 1st - Nic Quilter, 2nd - Zack Thompson, 3rd - Wade Quilter, 4th - David McCarty.

Slopestyle:
Female 1st - Blake Peterson. Male 1st - Zack Thompson, 2nd - David McCarty, 3rd - Wade Quilter, 4th - Nic Quilter.

Moguls 1:
Male 1st - Zack Thompson, 2nd - Tanner Bringhurst, 3rd - David McCarty, 4th - Gradey Cullins.

Moguls 2:
Male 1st - Zack Thompson, 2nd - Tanner Bringhurst, 3rd - Skyler Kauf, 4th - Garrett Schlag.
