JaNeanne Marie Hays, 53, Big Piney, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007, at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with her family at her side. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 31, at the Fine Arts Building in Big Piney.
She was born March 7, 1954, in La Grande, Oregon, to George and Annette Profit. She married Cary Hays in 1972 in Big Piney and together they had four children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church. She and her husband lived in North Dakota for many years and then moved back to Big Piney in June, 2006.
She is survived by her husband, Cary; three daughters, Kessa (Michael) Brakey, Williston, Autumn (Jody) Marmon, Big Piney, and Cionda (Jacob) Holter, Big Piney; sisters Toni David of Marbleton and Laurel Profit of Boise, Idaho; brother, Kent Profit of Marbleton; and three grandsons. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Lee; and brother, Michael Profit.
Funeral arrangements were made by Covill Funeral Home in Pinedale, Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The American Cancer Society in her name P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. Cards can be sent to the Hays family at PO Box 687, Pinedale, WY 84921.
