Narrows Snow Storm

An early spring snow squall overtakes "The Narrows" of New Fork Lake on Saturday, obscuring it from view shortly after this photo was taken. The road up to the lake is open. A seasonal road closure gate still blocks the road further in near the boat ramp. There is still some snow on the sides of the road, with soft, muddy road conditions in places. The lake still has (thin) ice on the surface, which is just starting to pull away from the edges of the shoreline.
