Predation compensation examined

Ranchers rail that when it comes to problems with predators, compensation isn’t the only important factor and certainly isn’t the solution to the problem: controlling the problem animals is critical.
Three University of Montana wildlife biology students conducted in-depth interviews with livestock producers in four communities in three states, including Dubois and Kaycee, Wyoming. What they learned is included in their report, called, “Political and social viability of predator compensation programs in the West.”
