Scott Thompson - haying

Haying before the storm - funnel clouds spotted in Sublette County Big Piney rancher Scott Thompson keeps a wary eye on the black thunderstorm clouds behind him as he works on haying Wednesday afternoon. Shortly after this photo was taken, strong winds hit with rain, hail and lightning. The National Weather Service put out a Special Weather Statement shortly afterwards that the public and trained spotters reported seeing a couple of funnel clouds in Sublette County around the same time.
