Editor's Note: Craig Scheetz, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, sent in this photo of a 21#, 31-inch brown trout he caught on September 23rd out of Soda Lake near Pinedale.
"I have been coming to wyoming fishing with my dad, Mike Drennen, for 14 years. This is the biggest fish I have ever seen come out of that lake," he said.
Mike Drennen is from Longmont Colorado, and Randy Davis, who took these pictures, is from California.
"The visit is just like every year I LOVE IT. I will return every year," added Scheetz.

Pete Cavalli, from the Pinedale office of WGF said, “...there have been several big fish caught at Soda this year. An angler from Utah caught and released an 18 pound brown, which was witnessed by a Game Warden ... and a couple of other anglers caught 16 pound browns in May.” The state record is 25 pounds 13 ounces and 34-1/4 inches long.
