Update on the Medical Clinics
Marbleton/Big Piney Clinic reopens
October 16, 2007
The New Pinedale Medical Clinic is on schedule to open November 26th. They plan to have an Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, December 8th, tentatively scheduled for the morning. The Marbleton/Big Piney Clinic project is progressing. Excavation and construction has begun and concrete footings are being poured. The existing Marbleton/Big Piney Clinic will have new hours through the end of the calendar year. The Clinic is experiencing a temporary staffing shortage, which caused them to shut down for several days recently. It will reopen to the public on Wednesday, October 17, and will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm through the end of the year.
Randy Johnson, Media/Marketing Services Coordinator for the Sublette County Rural Health Care District, said that no one has “walked out”. They still have medical providers coming in to see patients, nursing staff, x-ray, lab, and administrative staff are all still in place. Dr. Czarnik is currently on administrative leave and will rejoin the staff shortly. He could provide no further details on the situation at the Marbleton/Big Piney clinic staffing situation. Anyone who has a medical emergency should call 9-1-1 and dispatch an ambulance, rather than trying to meet someone at the clinic.
The clinics have employment opportunities in clinical settings and their business offices. Anyone interested is encouraged to contact Sally Boone, Human Resources, for more information, 307-276-4451 ext 2271.
