White capped mountains

Scott Almdale sent in these photos of the lovely sunset last Sunday evening in Pinedale. “… I happened to capture the mountains' symphony that lasted for only five minutes. It was cloudy and snowing in the mountains off and on all day with no sun. Then, about quarter after five p.m., the sun came out from under the clouds near the western horizon. Behold! The mountains started playing a gorgeous symphony with powerful sunlight, shadows, and dancing clouds that kept changing among the peaks. It was magnificent to behold. Then, it was finished as quickly as it started.”
