SnoWest Magazine

A national snowmobiling magazine ranks one of Wyomings state trails as “the” trail to hit this winter. SnoWest magazine ranks the Continental Divide Trail as the Number One snowmobiling destination in the state for its scenery along with trail riding, off-trail riding with some trails reaching as high as 10,000 feet in elevation.

Brad Hill, Trails Program Manager for Wyoming State Parks, says that on a good snow year, snowmobilers can enjoy a ride from Pinedale to Lander to Dubois to Yellowstone National Park and eventually end up in West Yellowstone.

"The Continental Divide Snowmobile trail offers some of the most scenic and beautiful riding in the western United States. The trails are maintained very well and are some of the most popular," said Hill.

Hill added that snowmobilers should take advantage of this trail this season as this is the last year that the Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail will be allowed through Grand Teton National Park.
