Did you know that Sublette County’s 7,359 residents comprise only 1.4 percent of the state’s population, yet the county’s $4.4 billion assessed valuation accounts for 21 percent of the entire state’s valuation? That’s a larger percentage than any other county in the state.
How about this one: Did you know Sublette County contributes more taxes to the state than any other county in the state? For 2006, that was more than 19 percent of all taxes paid into state coffers.
That’s just two of the interesting facts found in the Sublette County Commission’s State of the County report, released on Pinedale Online this week. Read the report to learn all about Sublette County’s finances – where it comes from and how it’s spent.
