Alaska Congressman: Here, take my wolves!

This is a very funny report of the shenanigans of a couple of U.S. Representatives on opposite sides of the aisle on wolf issues. Liberal Representative George Miller has joined up with Defenders of Wildlife in attempt to get the aerial gunning of wolves outlawed in Alaska and everywhere else. Of course, he's not from an area where wolves exist.
Representative Don Young is from Alaska, and he's appalled with Miller's stance. He sent Miller a letter this week inviting him to, go ahead, here, have Alaska's wolves. Young suggested all the money Defenders has raised to lobby Congress on the issue could pay to fly them out of Alaska. The National Center for Public Policy Research website has the story.
