Ameritrade founder, Joe Ricketts, announces plans to retire

An online news story on CNN reports that Ameritrade founder and chairman, Joe Ricketts, announced plans to step down as chairman later this year. He announced his retirement plans at the online brokerage’s annual meeting on Wednesday, February 20th. Ameritrade is a leading online brokerage, founded in 1975. Ricketts has a home in Bondurant, Wyoming.
