The Wyoming Department of Agriculture is sponsoring a free half-day seminar entitled, “Grazing with Grouse” on Wednesday, March 12th in Pinedale.
Are you concerned about the potential listing of the sage grouse? You are invited to attend this informational seminar to learn more about the interactions between livestock and sage grouse. The seminar starts at 10:30 AM in the Pinedale Library and talks are scheduled through 3:00 PM. A free lunch will be provided, courtesy of Ultra Petroleum.

10:30 AM: Sage Grouse Seasonal Habitat Requirements. Jill Miller, Wyoming Game & Fish.
11:00 AM: Candidate Conservation Agreements with Assurances. Kathleen Erwin, US Fish & Wildlife Services.
11:30 AM: Free lunch provided
12:15 PM: Livestock Interactions with Sage Grouse. Dr. Roy Roath, Colorado State University.
2:30 PM: Coordinated Resource Management and how it can work for you. Larry Bentley, WDA.
3:00 PM: Funding sources available. JIO, NRCS, WLCI.
