Wildlife Seminars will be held on Friday, February 29th in Pinedale. These afternoon seminars are in cooperation with the University of Wyoming. Seminars will start at 1:00 p.m at the BLM Rendezvous Meeting Room
Topics and speakers:
1. Ecological Site Descriptions, Ginger Paige – Assistant Professor (Water Resources)
2. Overview of Grazing and Sage Grouse Habitat, Jeff Beck – Assistant Professor, Wildlife Habitat Restoration Ecologist.
3. Sage-grouse ecology and local research, Matt Hollaran Sage-Grouse Research Biologist
4. Linking avian habitat to ecological sites, Mary Williams – PhD. Candidate Graduate program at UW.
5. Rangeland Insects, Alex Latchininsky – Assistant Professor, Extension Entomologist & Pest Population Biology.
