Wyoming Senior Winter Games

White Pine Ski Area, the Pinedale Aquatic Center and Sublette County Ice Arena will be hosting events for the upcoming Wyoming Senior Winter Games in Pinedale February 10-17th. The games involve four days of fun and fitness while participating in outdoor and indoor sports and recreation. Adults fifty years or older may participate and do not have to be Wyoming residents. Events include: Speed Skating, Hockey Shoot, Snow Shoe racing, Alpine Skiing (slalom—short/giant), Nordic Skiing (skate and classic), Rifle Biathlon, Mixed Cross-Country, Alpine-Nordic Relay and a senior Hockey Tournament.
There will also be free special speaker presentations. Dr. Stan Birge will give a lecture on, "The Aging Brain". Sue Holz, of Proactive Rehabilitation, will give a talk on, "Training for the Mature Athlete".
On Wednesday, February 13, there will be a Banquet dinner catered by Sue Eversull at Rendezvous Pointe at 6:00 PM. Cost is $10 per plate. Reserve now by calling 307-367-2832.

Winter Games Challenge: The company or organization that has the most participants (including volunteers of any age) will be recognized and featured in the local papers.
