The National Weather Service out of Riverton is advising of a significant snowstorm to impact Western Wyoming through Saturday evening and moving into parts of Central Wyoming.

The storm will strengthen and bring heavy snow at times. The snow will spread east of the Continental Divide later Saturday evening and continue into Sunday morning. Snowfall amounts of 5 to 8 inches in the mountains are expected by late Sunday morning, with lesser amounts in the valleys. Travelers should be prepared for snow-covered roads, slick conditions, and limited visibilities at times.
