Roger Blomquist

The Sublette County Historical Society will hold its annual meeting on Thursady, May 1. The feature presentation will be "The Mountain Man Saddle," by Roger Blomquist. Last summer, Blomquist completed appraisal of the Society saddle collection.

During the annual meeting new members to the Board of Directors will be selected and new officers will be elected. New exhibits will be on display, the new elevator will be dedicated, and the latest publication, "From Sandhills to Forests & Mountains," by Harold Showers, will be introduced.

Activities start at 6:00 pm at the Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale.

The Museum of the Mountain Man will be open for the summer starting May 1. Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm including weekends. Living History Days will be held May 13-15 and Rendezvous Days will be July 10-13.
