The Wyoming Division of Victim Services (DVS) Director Julie Tennant-Caine congratulates the Sublette County SAFV Task Force for successfully passing their recent site compliance visit and was found to be in substantial compliance with the State rules for the Operation of Community Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Shelter Programs, providing domestic violence and sexual assault services. Being "in substantial compliance" is one measure, which assures continued funding from the DVS.
According to Julie Tennant-Caine "This positive result is a reflection of the hard work of the director, Robin Clover and her dedicated staff."
The Sublette County SAFV Task Force is located at 209 East Magnolia, in Pinedale and offers a variety of services to those affected by crime.
During the on-site visit on April 24, 2008, the DVS met with staff members and reviewed policies and procedures for providing services for victims to assure the program’s compliance with the DVS Rules, which are based on federal and state law. Sublette County SAFV Task Force is funded in part through contracts with the DVS. The sources of these funds are state and federal funds for programs serving victims of crimes.
