Take a deep breath and consider how lucky we are. Everywhere you look there are sights that amaze the senses, from hay fields that look like paintings to wildflowers that blanket hillsides to blue sky and sun that are so beautiful they hurt to waters that are still too cold to stand in to nights that are so cold we sleep under blankets to moose calves that look like velvet and to hummingbirds that shimmer like gold. Take time each day to appreciate all this. Then get back to work in the garden…
