Strong thunderstorm on the way

1:12 PM, Friday, August 8, 2008: The National Weather Service has issued a significant weather advisory that Dopplar indicates a strong thunderstorm eight miles southeast of Mount Wagner, 19 miles southeast of Afton, moving east at 17 mph.
Gusty winds to 35 mph are possible with this storm, with rainfall amounts of ¾ of an inch to an inch also possible.
According to the NWS alert, "Residents in central Lincoln and western Sublette counties should monitor the weather situation closely. Listen for possible warnings and be prepared to take appropriate action should severe weather threaten."
