Sound of Music adult auditions scheduled for Sept. 26 & 27

Audition for the adult singing and non-sing roles in the Sound of Music are scheduled for Friday, September 26th and Saturday, 27th with callbacks on Sunday, September 28th.
Auditions will be held in the Pinedale High School auditorium on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"Auditions are scheduled rather than drop-in", said Valerie Lee, Pinedale Community Theatre Executive Director, "so please call Barbara Wise at 307-367-2275 to set up your appointment."
"There are soloist roles and group roles as well as men’s and women’s parts," said Valerie "There are also several non singing roles so everyone is encouraged to try out."
Auditions are an hour long with six people scheduled each hour. Each person will be auditioned independently in the first half hour and then the group will be brought together for last half hour to learn a dance. Please have prepared approximately16 bars of a song to sing, an accompanist will be available, but you can provide your own or bring your own guitar. Please bring sheet music if you are going to use the provided accompanist.
The Community Theatre is presenting the Sound of Music in November.
