AP posted a heart-warming story about a Wyoming couple who got caught in the thick of the snowstorms last weekend as they tried to get from Meeteetse to a hospital in Denver for short-notice liver transplant surgery. When closed roads blocked their way, a call to 911 led to officials pulling together a convoy of snowplow drivers who cleared a path to get them through the storm.
