The National Weather Service has received several reports of a small funnel cloud around the Daniel area this morning (Wednesday, June 17, 2009). They advise that similar small funnel clouds may occur through Wednesday afternoon.

NWS forecasts more showers and thunderstorms over the Upper Green River Basin Wednesday afternoon with periods of heavy rain through the day. Heavy rain will elevate area rivers and streams, and local residents are urged to watch for possible flooding. If flooding is experienced, please call the National Weather Service at 800-211-1448. Remember to use caution if flood waters are encountered and do not drive through water covered roadways.
