Ramble Line-up
"Ramblers" lined up on the northern side of the westbound lane of US 191 at the intersection of Tyler Avenue in Pinedale. Sheriff's Office deputies did traffic control and escorted the participants as they traveled west to the Fremont Lake Road.

The Rendezvous Ramble is sponsored by Allen Agency and Tegeler Insurance. Participants received a t-shirt. Proceeds go to benefit the McKenzie Meningitis Foundation. Approximately 125 people participated in this year's Rendezvous Ramble.

Flag over Afghanastan
Author Ken Zontek’s National Guard unit got called back to Afghanistan, so he could not come to Rendezvous to give his paper. He sent the Museum an American flag that flew over a base in Kabul, Afghanistan on June 1, 2009. The Museum flew the same flag at the Museum during Rendezvous and the forum in honor of Ken and all the troops overseas. Ken's paper was titled, "A Fur Trader's Tale of Saving the Bison." This article is his second article for the Journal.
