Brucellosis meeting set

The Wyoming Livestock Board [WLSB] is hosting informational meetings to explain changes that are being considered in the National Brucellosis program and solicit input from livestock producers about revising federal brucellosis rules. USDA/APHIS is considering changes to the National Brucellosis Program which will include changes to the Brucellosis Code of Federal Regulations and the Federal Brucellosis rules. The meetings will center on a draft USDA-Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service [APHIS] proposal to focus brucellosis eradication efforts on the Greater Yellowstone Area [GYA]. WLSB would like to get producer input on how federal brucellosis requirements can be revised to adequately address disease concerns. Meetings will be held at: • August 18 at the Park County Extension Cody Office, Courthouse, 1002 Sheridan Ave., Cody, WY in the Barling Room starting at 7:00 P.M. • August 19 at the Sublette County Library, 155 S. Tyler St., Pinedale, WY in the Lovatt Room in the new addition of the Library the meeting will start at 7:00 P.M.
