Montana summarizes wolf hunt

Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks officials have issued a report summarizing the state's first fair-chase wolf hunting season. It contains a lot of interesting information about harvested animals, such as:
More males than females taken (41/31);
38% were adults, 31% yearlings, and 31% juveniles;
Adults weighed 97 pounds, yearlings weighed 80, and juveniles weighed 62 pounds. One wolf weighed 117 pounds.'
Most wolves were healthy, although several had mange.
