Wolf death tally passes 500

The Associated Press reports that wolf deaths in the tri-state area of Montana, Idaho and Wyoming is more than 500 in 2009. That number includes wolves killed in response to livestock depredations and other control actions, as well as wolves killed in hunting seasons in Montana and Idaho.
