African Safari presentation April 7
March 30, 2010
The Green River Valley Land Trust and Lars & Suzy Michnevich are pleased to announce a special presentation about Kenya and African safaris by Sean Dundas of Ker and Downey Safaris. This free talk will be in the Lovatt Room in the Sublette County Library in Pinedale on Wednesday, April 7th, at 7:00 P.M. Water and soft drinks will be provided.
A few years ago Lars and Suzy Michnevich were invited to go on a photo safari in Kenya to celebrate the marriage of Ed and Laura Opler. "It was a life changing experience, most certainly for the better," Lars Michnevich said. "We made some wonderful new friends, three of which were our guides for Ker and Downey Safaris. It is our pleasure to inform you that one of the guides, Sean Dundas, will be here in Pinedale for a couple of days the week of April 4th."
"Ker and Downey is the world's oldest safari company," Michnevich said. "Established in 1946, they bring sixty years of experience to every safari they plan." They have been involved in almost every big film shot in Africa including "Out Of Africa" and "Gorillas In The Mist". "They've worked with Gregory Peck and Ava Gardner, Meryl Streep and Robert Redford, and of course, Lars and Suzy Michnevich!" Lars said. Everyone is invited.
