Motorists on Interstate 80 and Highway 191 should be prepared for increasingly hazardous road conditions overnight Thursday. Cooler temperatures will allow for roadways to become icy in spots.

The National Weather Service advises that snow and wind will continue through early Friday morning impacting south Lincoln County, Rock Springs and Green River, Flaming Gorge and east Sweetwater County.

Widespread light snow with possible accumulations up to around two inches will continue across Sweetwater county into the early morning hours. The snow will be accompanied by gusty northeast wind of 15 to 30 mph. This combination will cause areas of blowing snow and reduced visibility. The impact of the snow and wind will be less from about Little America west into southern Lincoln County. The snow will gradually decrease after about 1 am. Additional light snowfall is possible during the day on Friday.
