Cooking with Chef Keith - A Christmas Cooking Demonstration and Dinner

Keith Turner, a local chef for Stockman’s Steakhouse, is organizing a cooking demonstration and sit-down dinner as a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Sublette County.
Keith chose to complete this outreach community project for Big Brothers Big Sisters because he understands how BBBS positively impacts youth in Sublette County. "I believe every boy and girl deserves a mentor in their life-to confide, share, and learn. BBBS helps provide for those in need!"
The mission of BBBS is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with measurable outcomes. The goal of BBBS is to create mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them, contributing to brighter futures, better schools, and a stronger community.
"We are looking forward to starting a community Christmas tradition with Keith and are so pleased that he is donating his time and talents to benefit our organization" said Susan Anderson, the Outreach Coordinator for BBBS. "This dinner will raise needed funds for BBBS and will get the word out about the positive effects of mentoring relationships between caring adults and children in our community."
Funding for Big Brothers Big Sisters’ programs provides careful mentor matching and ongoing support for volunteers, kids and parents/guardians, leading to enduring matches that yield strong results.
This fundraiser will take place on December 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Stockman’s Steakhouse.
Keith’s menu will include appetizers of bruschetta, and grilled asparagus and mushroom crepes. The choice of entrée is pecan encrusted beef tenderloin with juniper jus and garlic mashed potatoes or fresh Atlantic salmon oscar. Dessert will be honey drenched Christmas struffoli. This event is an excellent opportunity for audience participants to learn new cooking techniques and these delicious holiday recipes.
Tickets for this fundraiser are available to purchase for $30 at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office in the Summit Building or at Stockman’s, seating is limited.
