The Sublette County Fire Fighters held their annual banquet and end-of-year recognition on Saturday, December 11th at Southwest Sublette County Pioneers Senior Citizen Center in Big Piney. Members of the county’s six volunteer fire departments attended.
Special guest speaker was Mike Hostetler, retired State Forestry, who spoke on the worth of volunteers. Big Piney Fire Chief, John Ball, gave a presentation on increasing workloads.
Sublette County operates on a volunteer fire department system, with fire stations in Pinedale, Bondurant, Boulder, Daniel, Kendall Valley, and Big Piney/Marbleton.
