Winter Weather Advisory for Pinedale

The National Weather Service has continued a Winter Weather Advisory until midnight Wednesday, December 29th. Snowfall is expected to increase in intensity Wednesday and continue, heavy at times, through late Wednesday evening. Snow accumulations are expected to vary across the area with this event. 3 inches of snow is expected in Pinedale with around 5 inches expected in Bondurant by late Wednesday evening. Snowfall of 3 to 4 inches has been reported across the Pinedale foothills Wednesday.
Wind of 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph will be possible across the area. This increased wind may create blowing and drifting snow which may limit visibilities on roadways.
Travel through the Upper Green River Basin is expected to become hazardous. Those planning outdoor activities should be prepared for deteriorating weather conditions.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
