Cat Urbigkit holds four book signings in April
Celebrate National Library Week with Big Piney author Cat Urbigkit
April 5, 2011
Award-winning writer Cat Urbigkit of Big Piney will be doing a western Wyoming book signing tour in public libraries to celebrate National Library Week next week. It’s a chance for residents to meet a non-fiction author one-on-one and have her autograph books while paying a visit to your local public library.
Urbigkit’s newest title is Path of the Pronghorn described by School Library Journal in a starred review as an "elegant book that celebrates an equally elegant North American mammal."
Urbigkit is the author of six children’s books, in addition to her adult title, Yellowstone Wolves: A Chronicle of the Animal, the People and the Politics, which tells the history of Wyoming’s native wolf in an intensively researched, fully footnoted chronicle.
All of Urbikit’s titles will be available at the book signings, with prices ranging from $5 to $25.
Urbigkit’s book signing schedule for National Library Week includes the following stops:
April 11 - Green River Library 5-7 pm. April 12 - Kemmerer Library, 3-5 p.m. April 13 - Big Piney Library, 3-6 p.m. April 14 - LaBarge Library, noon – 1:30 p.m.
