Nordic Trail grooming report – April 4, 2011
April 4, 2011
Grooming Report By Mike Looney, Groomer
As of Monday, April 4, 2011: All upper trails freshly groomed except for Flatline and Heart Attack. It is cold and the snow is firm and fast. There is a crust of snow on the surface now that makes for cross country skiing across the snow without sinking in. The best skiing for firm snow is in the morning hours. Please watch for, and be considerate of wildlife, while out on the trails. They have had a hard winter and being spooked into the deep snow by your presence or your dog can cause them unnecessary stress or injury. There are probably another two weeks of good skiing, so come on out before the snow disappears!
